October Reminders & News

-October Half Term
No classes Saturday 22nd October – Friday 28th October.

-Friday 25th November
Due to Christmas Fair preparations, the hall and studio are out of action at Birchwood Grove. Dance classes are therefore cancelled and will be made up on Friday 16th December at the normal class times.

-Tuesday at Burgess Hill Girls Final Class Tuesday 28th November
-Tuesday at Birchwood Grove & Woodlands Meed College Tuesday 6th December

-Friday at Birchwood Grove Friday 16th December Final Class
-Saturday at Burgess Hill Girls 17th December Final Class

Saturdays – Dates & Venue Reminder
On 12th & 19th  November, classes will be re located to Birchwood Grove CP School, RH15 0DP in the main hall and studio as Burgess Hill Girls is unavailable due to school functions. There are no classes running Saturday 26th November. Classes will then resume Saturday 3rd December and will continue to run at Burgess Hill Girls until and including the 17th December. Open watching classes are Saturday 10th December. 

Open Classes
With the exception of Friday 16th and Saturday 17th December family and friends are invited to observe the final sessions of term during the normal class times. Friday & Saturday open classes will take place on the 9th & 10th December instead.

Would your son or daughter like to join us for Jazz & Modern on Saturday mornings with our teacher Miss Laura? We are offering a 4 class introductory block for £20. If anyone would like to join us please get in touch to find out more



Baby/Toddler Dance Classes – Friday Mornings- Confident walkers to 3 years. Our new baby/toddler dance class started this October on Friday mornings 10:15 – 11:00 at Martlets Hall. The class is open to confident walkers up to 3 years of age. If you would like to join us please do get in touch. Classes are exciting, interactive dance themed sessions inspired by Jazz & Disco incorporating fun, jazzy music, singing, props, bubbles, lights and mini disco.

London Ballet Company Workshop
VBDancers had a brilliant afternoon with the London Ballet Company earlier this month. Each group learned company repertoire and created their own choreography. A wonderful opportunity for the VBDancers and everyone worked very hard. Well done!

We have received some lovely reviews recently, especially from parents of our pre school dancers. If you have a moment and are able to leave a review on the VBDance Facebook page we would be very grateful.

Water Bottles
VBDance water bottles are currently on offer for £5. Order online here and collect in class after half term.

Please ensure students are in the correct uniform for all dance classes. Pink ballet socks or pink ballet tights must be worn with ballet shoes. Hair must be tied back neatly for all classes. A reminder of our uniform is available to view here.

Show Chaperones
Jackie Johanson has been very busy organising and coordinating parent volunteers for Chaperone training for our show next March. However, we still need more! If you would like to join us for training on Tuesday 6th December 5:30 – 7:30, please get in touch with Jackie.  A huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered so far!
