We had a very busy exam session over the Easter holidays and are delighted to report another 100% pass rate for the 35 exam candidates entered. Many pupils achieved high Merits or Distinctions! Congratulations to all on your achievements. Reports have been distributed and certificates are to follow (once received from ISTD HQ).

Janet Cram Awards
Congratulations to Jessica Baker, Isobelle Deamer, Lydia Stewart Parsons and Lauren Wickens who represented the school at the ISTD Janet Cram Awards earlier this May. It was a pleasure to watch the girls perform for the first time in such a competition. There were some very proud parents and teachers in the audience. Well done girls on the achievements you made at your first competition.

Southern Youth Ballet Audition and Masterclass
I have received details of Southern Youth Ballet’s upcoming auditions for their production of the Nutcracker due to be performed on Sunday 20th December at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne. Auditions are taking place this Sunday 7th June. Some of our pupils participated last year and were inspired by performing in a professional full length ballet with orchestra. Details of the auditions and masterclass are available by clicking on this link.  If you intend to enter your child please let me know and I will forward a registration form to you.

Thank you!
As many of you will know, Tom and I welcomed the safe arrival of our son Wilbur James earlier this May. We have been so touched and overwhelmed by the number of cards, gifts and wishes we have received and are very grateful. Thank you so much and we look forward to introducing Wilbur to the VBDancers! xxx
