Balham Autumn Term News 2014

Dear Parents and Carers

We do hope you and your children have had a lovely Summer!

We are very much looking forward to seeing our dancers this Saturday. Invoices have now been sent out via PayPal and if your child would like to continue dancing with us this term please settle at your earliest convenience.  If your child is not continuing with us this term, please do let us know as soon as possible.

Term dates for the Autumn Term are as follows:
Saturday 13th September – Saturday 6th December 2014
(No classes due to half term Saturday 1st November)

If your child would like to join an additional class this term, please do let us know as soon as possible. Our tap and jazz  combination classes have become very popular over the past few terms and we are delighted to have so many enthusiastic dancers with us in class. Please do  email the VBDance office for further details regarding enrolment for additional classes this term.

Some of you will notice changes to the timetable for this term. As our pupils move up year groups each academic year we are keen to keep them with the correct levels for their age and ability. Please double check the class times stated on your invoice.

We would be very grateful if you would ensure your child is in the correct attire for all dance classes. The uniform lists are also available to view on the vbdance website at here. International Dance Supplies provide all of our school uniform and will be able to assist you. Our school code is: VBDAN Please click here to be taken to the IDS website to order uniform online.

Classes with Miss Victoria
As some of you will know, earlier this year, Miss Victoria moved out of Balham to West Sussex. This Autumn, Miss Victoria will be handing over her Grade 1 Ballet, Pre Primary and Grade 1 Tap classes to the very capable hands (and dancing feet) of Miss Jasmin and Miss Saffron. Miss Victoria will still be visiting the school to observe classes, progression of pupils and for exam coaching, but Miss Jasmin and Miss Saffron will be the pupils main weekly class teacher from now on. Miss Victoria has been delighted to see how well the children have been developing and has enjoyed watching Miss Jasmin and Miss Saffron’s creative and inspiring dance classes. For any enquiries outside of class time, please do contact Miss Victoria who will be happy to assist.

What’s On:
With the Christmas season not too far away, please see below some links to festive dance performances taking place between October and December of this year.
