Victoria Bremner was the Dance teacher in a new Dance Mentoring Programme which was set up in collaboration with staff at the school and which focused on developing the personal and social skills of disaffected students through the creative outlet of Dance. The programme was a huge success and had a very positive impact on re-engaging some challenging Year 8 girls. Victoria also worked with Gifted and Talented Dance groups, boy and girl groups and prepared the students for numerous performances including the internal Christmas and Summer concerts, an internal Dance Showcase, the Merton Step into Dance borough event and the Wimbledon Theatre Showcase. Victoria is a highly professional, dedicated, creative and committed Dance teacher. Her sessions were always delivered with enthusiasm, passion and positivity. She inspired lots of our students to become interested in Dance and unlock their own dance potential.

Victoria is a wonderful ballet teacher. She is totally committed, dedicated to her art and takes enormous pleasure inspiring those whom she teaches. I am not the run of the mill pupil being 50 years old, 6ft 5 and 18 1/2 stone but once the lesson starts all of that becomes irrelevant. I’m pushed to my physical limits and, extraordinarily, even I begin to feel that I am dancing which is a testament to Victoria’s skill and rare ability to communicate her love of dance through words and movement. She manages to combine technical rigour and expertise with musical and creative flair. Thus she is disciplined and inspiring at one and the same time. I could not recommend her more highly.

My daughter was already in a dance school, and I was looking for a replacement. I was nervous because I wanted to be sure that the school I chose would bring my daughter on, as I feel she is a talented dancer, and did not want her to become just another little girl in an overcrowded dance lesson. I can’t express enough, at how delighted my daughter and I are with VBDance. Firstly my daughter loved the more ‘modern’ feel to the class, and the great music they dance to; and I am so impressed with the improvement in my daughter’s dancing.
