Victoria Bremner, BA Hons, AISTD, DDE  – Principal – Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre & Tap Teacher

Before studying on the 3 year BA Hons Dance and Culture Degree with the University of Surrey graduating with a First Class Honours in 2005, Victoria Bremner received outstanding dance performance training from teachers at the top of their fields including Rosemary Woodd (FISTD) and Jennifer Jackson (Royal Ballet). Upon graduating she was appointed as a professional contemporary dancer with Odyssey Dance Theatre Singapore (Director Danny Tan) performing Repetoires including Innocent Light, Instinct and Begin Stop Start End.

Victoria is dedicated to delivering dance training which strives for excellence while ensuring it is a fun and motivating experience for students of all abilities and from  all walks of life. She is a devoted member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and was awarded her Associate with a Distinction in 2004. She holds the ISTD Diploma in Dance Education (Imperial Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre) and is  looking forward to preparing for her ISTD Licenciate in 2012. She is also a CDET Approved Teacher with the Council for Dance Education and Training and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice.  Teachers awarded the CDET Approved Teacher Award demonstrate to students, parents and guardians that they adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard young people whilst undertaking dance or musical theatre related classes in the UK.

As well as her experiences performing and choreographing internationally,  Victoria holds an extensive portfolio of education work. This includes working on  a freelance basis for:

Victoria’s students have performed at major dance platforms including Sadlers Wells and Royal Festival Hall and in a variety of musicals including Billy Elliot, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Oliver as well as taking class at the Royal Ballet School.

Rebecca Feesey BA Hons – ISTD Modern Theatre, Street Dance, Funky Jazz & Boys Group Teacher

Becca Feesey studied Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz from an early age gaining distinction in all her final RAD and ISTD examinations before accepting a place to study Dance and Professional Practice at Coventry University. Since graduating with an Upper Second Class BA Hons, Becca has been coaching and teaching Creative Dance and related fitness in Youth Centres, Schools and Care Homes across East Sussex.

She is also currently studying towards the ISTD DDI qualification in Modern theatre and is a member of the Foundation for Community Dance. She runs our hugely popular Funky Jazz, Street Dance and VBoyz classes and has created some fabulous pieces of choreography at VBDance.

Becca is very excited to be teaching for VBDance and sharing her passion for Dance with more young people!


Sophie Huntley DDI – ISTD Modern Theatre, Tap & Street Teacher

Sophie Huntley has 10 years dance experience. She has passed all her ISTD and RAD exams with Distinction in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz and has also studied Contemporary dance at A-Level.

Following her A-levels she spent a year at Performers College in Essex on the Foundation Course and was awarded places on 4 musical theatre courses. Sophie has lots of performing experience in professional pantomimes, onboard a cruise ship, London performances and amateur productions. She has also been trained in singing and acting and loves to choreograph for other students.

Sophie holds the DDI in Modern Theatre and Tap and is continuing her studies to DDE level whilst teaching at several schools locally.

She is really looking forward to meeting and working with the students at VBDance, sharing her enthusiasm and love for dance with them.


Lauren Mason – Modern Theatre, Funky Jazz & Street Teacher

Lauren has been dancing since the age of four and has completed many of the ISTD examinations in Jazz, Tap and Modern Dance.  She has performed in professional Pantomines, and productions at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks and has also  performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Haymarket, London in the Children’s Variety Performance.   Lauren has studied Dance and Performing Arts at The North West Kent College, Miskin Theatre for three years. She performed in many productions as well as being awarded a  First Diploma in Performing Arts and First Certificate in Performing Arts with Distinction and Merit grades. She also holds the Level 3 Diploma in Dance and Level 3 National Diploma gaining a triple distinction.  Lauren is in the process of completing her ISTD Dance Teaching qualifications in Modern Theatre. She has experience of teaching dance to young children and is really looking forward to working with the pupils at VBDance and using her performing experience to inspire them!
