Classes

VBDance was founded by Victoria Bremner in 2006 with the aim of providing outstanding ISTD dance tuition in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Street Dance to pupils of all ages and abilities in Burgess Hill and Balham. VBDance holds an excellent track record for delivering high quality dance tuition in a fun and relaxed environment with many students achieving highly in their ISTD dance examinations.

VBDance has a timetable of 30 classes per week ranging from Ballet to Street Dance for boys and girls from the age of 3 and upwards. All classes are taught by dedicated and qualified teachers who are passionate about dance training for children and young people. There are many opportunities for children to perform, participate in holiday clubs and open classes throughout the year.

Classes for children in Imperial Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre follow the ISTD dance syllabus which provides an excellent structure and foundation for dance training. All children are encouraged to take their ISTD dance exams when they have reached the required standard although this is not compulsory in order for a child to progress to the next level.

VBDance also offers classes in Street Dance and Funky Jazz which do not follow an examination syllabus.  We  are particularly proud of our popular  VBoyz Group following much demand from boys in the area who have been inspired by the talents of Flawless, Diversity, Michael Jackson and George Sampson.

Associate classes are available for those students taking classes as a  ‘serious’ hobby and demonstrating extra potential. Places in these classes are by invitation only.
