VBDancers awarded Second Place @ The Big Dance Off

Talented dancers from VBDance are awarded second place in BOTH categories at The Big Dance Off, Burgess Hill.

The girls and boys group performed two dances choreographed by Victoria Bremner and Rebecca Feesey in the competition. There were 17 girls aged between 7 & 12 years who performed a complex routine which included difficult lifts, partnering and complex patterns. They performed with style, confidence and beaming smiles!

The boys performed Mission Impossible and worked incredibly hard to get it ‘just right’. Their dance included lots of ‘tricks’ and intricate isolations.

The competition relied on the audience vote and we were all thrilled to be placed! Many people commented on the professionalism of the VBDancers and this is testament to the hard work and dedication put in by pupils, staff and parents.

Jo:It was a fabulous evening all the performers were fantastic but I think the VB dancers did stand out as they were so professional.  I know I am biased but the boys in particular were superb, you could see the sheer concentration and determination to get it right written all over them yet they all looked like they were having so much fun !  We were so proud of them and thrilled that both groups came second!

Jackie: Well done Victoria & Miss Becca, the girls & boys were so good & looked so professional….it’s all down to you both!! I was a very proud Mummy….& Jess is still buzzing from it!! xx
